“Training of 520 persons will focus mostly on women and girls. When they are through with the training, the association will provide them with the materials to construct the energy saving wood-stove in each of their kitchens”.

Faced with the growing threat of deforestation through human activities, the United Nations (UN) has commenced the training of some communities in Cross River State on forest regeneration.

In view of issues surrounding the world climate change, 350 men, women and youths from Okuromotet Community in Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River State, have been trained on forest conservation.
