Not many would remember the pathetic story of then nine-year-old Korede Taiwo, who was chained by his biological father, Pastor Francis Taiwo, shepherd-in-charge of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Key of Joy Parish, Wasinmi Ajibawo, in Ado Odo/Ota Local Council Area of Ogun State.

His own father manacled him to the church’s lectern, according to the reports. A rustic pendant, actually a chain dangled down his frail neck and rested around his crotch; a king-size padlocked clutched the chain around his tiny chest.
