INEC proposes September 16 for Lagos bye-election

Mr Kazeem Alimi of the All Progressives Congress, who occupied the seat, died on July 18. He succumbed to a brief illness at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, two weeks after celebrating his 50th birthday.
