Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, has pulled out of the People's Democratic Party (PDP)’s governorship primary in Imo State.

The Lagos State Special Offences (Mobile) Court sitting at Bolade, Oshodi, has sentenced a fake Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) officer, Omotutu Bamidele, to a two-year jail term for impersonation and extortion.

Music personalities, D’banj and Simi and creative industries expert, Obi Asika have returned as judges for this year’s Nigerian Idol. Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa also returned as host for the music show

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has reiterated its commitment to partnering with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), in fighting crime in the state.

Those rescued include eleven (11) male victims and two (2) females who were reportedly kidnapped at a Hotel in Eleite Area along Ajaokuta road on March 25.
