Horror as Mali’s army, Russian mercenaries commit new wave of abuses

In a desperate bid to end what they described as ‘insurgency’ in the Sahel region, the Malian armed forces and Russian-controlled Africa Corps have committed fresh atrocities against civilians in central Mali amid renewed fighting, Human Rights Watch (HRW) said.
