UN agency, others seek end to genital mutilation

In commemoration of the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), the Initiative for Research Innovation and Advocacy in Development (IRIAD) has renewed its call for the eradication of the practice, citing its severe health risks and human rights violations.
