‘70% of restaurants in Nigeria serve over salted foods’
A survey by The Guardian showed that more than 70 per cent of restaurants, fast food joints and eateries nationwide serve over salted foods, and do not comply with the 2g sodium/day (equivalent to 5g salt/day) recommended for consumption by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
