Money supply rises by 4%, hits N138.8tr amid tight monetary policy

Nigeria’s broad money supply rose to a record N138.78 trillion in July, even as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) maintained a tight monetary policy stance. Credit to the private sector also climbed to N83.43 trillion, pointing to continued expansion
