One of the train services involved in a triple collision in India's deadliest railway disaster for decades resumed journeys on Wednesday, as officials revised the death toll up to 288.
To avert attacks on railway services in Nigeria, the Federal Executive Council (FEC), yesterday, approved N495 million for procurement and installation of baggage scanners in some railway stations in the country.
The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has said it has not awarded any contract for railway network in the region, but only signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for preliminary processes for the project.
