The Automobile arm of Steel and Engineering Workers’ Union of Nigeria (SEWUN), has called on the Federal Government to creatively come up policies that would reposition the economy.

Workers in the steel industry have called on the Federal Government to protect local industries and the value of the naira, following the loss of over 3,500 workers due to high production costs.

The Steel and Engineering Workers’ Union of Nigeria, (SEWUN) has said any economy that does not engage in the production of goods and services cannot exit recession.
