Super Eagles out of contract coach, Stephen Keshi, has apologized to Nigerians for any misunderstanding that may have occurred in the discharge of his duties. He has also clarified that he has no problem with Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick, or any other principal staff of the federation. Speaking through his agent, Emmanuel Ado, Keshi said any perceived “problem, whether real or imagined,” between them would always be resolved amicably in the interest of the game and the country they both love.

The website reports that the executive members of the NFF are divided over the decision of the Technical Committee to put the long term future of the Super Eagles in the hands of the 2013 African Cup of Nations winning coach, as some of them believe a foreign coach should head the team.

THE Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has said that it would not change the engagement terms it has presented to out of contract Super Eagles’ coach, Stephen Keshi, telling the former national team captain to either accept the offer or reject it.
