IGP denies telling Nigerians to attack police on ‘stop and search’ duty

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has denied claims that the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, instructed Nigerians to assault policemen who engage in stop and search on their phones. Police spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi disclosed this in a statement.
