Funding for startups in Nigeria, S’Africa, Egypt drops by 25 per cent

Start-ups in Africa raised $2.2 billion in 2024 through equity, debt and grants. While the amount looks good in absolute terms, it represented a 25 per cent drop compared to the $2.9 billion raised in 2023.
