HP offers SMEs, others new products, deepens market reach


As part of efforts to deepen its reach and offer Nigerians more products, HP has unveiled Laserjet Tank printers, including the 1500, 1600, 2500, and 2600 models, which is a promising development for the Nigerian market.

At the unveiling in Lagos, Country Head, HP Nigeria, Emmanuel Asika, said the new products will go a long way to help the millions of small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) in the country.

Asika, who said though there are challenges in Nigeria, “the opportunities are vast.” He said HP is still in Nigeria not just because of the population but the fact remains that the country is still growing with enormous potential.

He said HP started about 80 years ago to solve problems and has been solving problems, stressing that the introduction of the Laserjet Tank printers, embodies the firm’s commitment to enhancing productivity, security, and connectivity for consumers.

According to him, LaserJet printers typically offer efficient and high-quality printing, combining speed with precision, however, “this exciting new technology focuses on providing ‘Powerful Productivity’ and ‘Super-affordable refill” to the users.

And prefilled with up to 5,000 pages of Original HP Toner, said the firm can boasts of 22,000 patents.

On her part, ACE HPS Africa Category Manager, Sophia Damilola-Anjorin, said the target of HP is to advance print, stressing that it ensures 90 per cent less waste and guarantees 70 per cent cost savings.
