
The founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Academy, Lucky Ofuafor, in Warri, Delta State, disclosed that capacity development for the youths was necessary because it will expose them to available skills that will make them to compete favorably with their peers anywhere in the world.
“Nigeria has a lot of brilliant youths; our goal is to engage them with IT programmes, especially in the area of mobile applications and games. We want them to appreciate the skills needed to be better people in life. We also want to introduce them to computer based test that is now being used to run JAMB examination,” he said.
He said the Rolof Computer Academy will as part of their efforts at giving back to the society engage secondary school students during the long holiday period with useful IT knowledge.
