Sponsors, organizers back Harrison Chinedu for Guinness World Record target in Lagos

Cambodia-based Nigeria football star, Harrison Chinedu is having full support of sponsors and organizers ahead of his attempt of entering the Guinness World record with a ball-on-head-riding-a-bicycle over a distance of 100k slated for November 20 in Lagos.
Chinedu had earlier broken a World record by walking a distance of 48.04km under 7 hours, 15 minutes, with the ball on his head earlier this year.
His new target of riding a bicycle with a ball on his head from Eleko beach to the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, (100km), is getting support from far and near.
The Head of Marketing Communication of Bet9ja, Tunji Meshioye, reassured yesterday that his company was involved because they want to reward the passion of the gangling Chinedu.
He said his company is committed to helping Chinedu realize his ambition of being the first man to ride a bicycle with ball on head to the farthest distance (100km).
“In the last couple of months, we have observed Chinedu doing amazing things with ball on head, and Bet9ja is ready to reward his passion,” Meshioye said.
Meanwhile, veteran broadcaster and Chief Executive Officer of First Sports Entertainment Company Ltd, Effiong Nyong, has revealed that every thing needed to guarantee a hitch free Guinness Book Of World Record event have been put in place.
“We have been talking with relevant bodies, and I’m glad to say that the Nigeria police, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Nigeria Civil defense Corps and LASTMA have assured of total cooperation before, during and after the event. Our plan for special recording of the programme have also been concluded,” Nyong added.
