Professor Godini Darah has bagged an honorary Doctor of Letters of the Michael and Cecilia Ibru University (MCIU), Agbarha-Otor, Delta State, according to a letter by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyinka Fuwape, to the don.

The letter dated August 12, reads: “On behalf of the Visitor, Governing Council, Senate, Management, staff and students of MCIU, I write to respectfully inform you that the university management recognises your exceptional, excellent and inspiring contributions to the advancement of knowledge and growth in human capital development at national and international levels.

“In light of the above, MCIU wishes to celebrate you as an acclaimed achiever by conferring on you the Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) of MCIU. This award will be conferred on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 during the 4th Convocation and 6th Olorogun (Dr.) Michael C.O. Ibru Memorial Lecture.”
