Lagos passengers were stranded, yesterday, on Ikorodu road, as two containers fell off the back of a trailer on the Mile 12 bridge, outbound Ikorodu.
The situation resulted in a gridlock, as commuters resorted to trekking as a result of the traffic on the bridge, which extended to as far as Majidun area of the road.

Reporting the incident on its Twitter handle, LASTMA wrote: “Two containers fell off the back of a trailer on the Mile 12 bridge inward Kosofe, paralysing traffic movement on the bridge.
Confirming the incident to The Guardian, Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department, Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), said the containers were cleared off the road at 9:00a.m., while normalcy was restored.
