Thembi Portia Shilenge is a gift to humanity, and any doubt about that would be quickly buried in how she has used her position as an international cryptocurrency figure to push humanity to a much better place.

The indefatigable Thembi Shilenge was born in a small town of  Mmakaunyane, North West Province of South Africa, in 1993. The ambitious and resourceful trailblazer had her primary and high school education in the moderate village and graduated in 2010 from Mabopane Secondary School.

Afterwards, Thembi Shilenge began a journey of self discovery, self-made and finding purpose. She worked with several local and multinational establishments, beginning with Anglo Platinum for two years as a chemical engineer after graduating with B.Tech degree in 2014. As an individual who has always placed premium on knowledge, she spent 2015 acquiring finance, business and management skills at Sage Pastel Accounting Academy.

Between 2015 and 2017, Thembi Shilenge worked at Amalungla Minerals, ChromTech Holdings, Department of Public Works, Kroondal Platinum Mine,  City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality and SABMiller Plc. It was in 2017 she discovered the need to create wealth for herself, through which she could give back to the society–a noble idea she has tirelessly pursued over the years.

About six years ago, Thembi Shilenge found a path and future in cryptocurrency, when she started trading and mining. The South African acquired the necessary skill set in her newly found career and by 2018, she had become a crypto coach and leading expert in the business.

In 2018, Thembi Shilenge founded Crypto Dimensions Academy, becoming her first point of giving back and impacting lives. Through her academy, she has raised more than 500 other crypto giants across the continent and the world–literally birthing the next generation of global financial giants. This stamped her dominance and influence in the industry across the world, earning her several invitation to international crypto symposium as a panelist.

As part of her philanthropic gestures, Thembi Shilenge recently donated 50,000 sanitary pads to girls in five secondary schools, including her alma mater, in her village.

“No girl deserve to miss school or class due to lack of sanitary pads. And it helped also to restore back the confidence as we didn’t just donate but we were educating these young girls the importance of education,” Thembi Shilenge told reporters.
