
Vice-President Kashim Shettima has restated the Federal Government’s commitment to elevating the creative industry in Nigeria.
Shettima in a statement on Tuesday also said that the FG is committed to elevating the creative industry into Nigeria’s major economic force.
The Vice-President said this ahead of the Creative Economy Roundtable after hosting veteran actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) and other icons from the creative industry in his office on Monday night.
“We discussed our administration’s agenda for the sector, emphasizing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to elevating the creative industry into Nigeria’s major economic force,” Shettima posted on X.
He said that the Federal Government hope to ensure that every talented Nigerian, regardless of their location in and outside the country, can flourish and excel in their chosen fields.
According to the VP, the support from the Tinubu-led administration will be steadfast in helping the citizens of Nigeria thrive in their chosen fields.
