President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been called upon to ignore the ongoing effort by disgruntled persons to run down the integrity of the director general of the Department of State Services (DSS), Mr Yusuf Magaji Bichi.

The convener of the Arewa youths federation, Comrade Kabiru Mohammed who is behind the call asked President Tinubu and Nigerians to discountenance the malicious publication and continue to support the DSS under the leadership of Bichi.

The Arewa group contended that over the years, Bichi has demonstrated professionalism, focus and determination as a spy chief.

“He deserves Commendation and a vote of confidence, not blackmail from serial blackmailers like Jackson and his accomplices,” the group stressed.

“The Arewa Youth Federation, wishes to frown on such unwarranted blackmail against an upright and determined spy chief.

” The group warn sponsors of the mischief against Bichi to desist from this trade of blackmail. Comrade Kabiru vowed to use all legitimate means to fight and unveil those behind this blackmail business.

We are convinced that the eagle eyes of Bichi has prevented the sponsors of the blackmailer based in the USA from shortchanging the country hence the unprovoked attacks on the DG.

“His sponsors are unpatriotic persons who are willing tools in the hands of corrupt people and can do anything, no matter how awful and unpatriotic to pull down upright public office holders and gain money for themselves.”
