UK-based medical practitioner rallies Yorubas’ support for Tinubu’s economic prosperity roadmap

United Kingdom (UK) based mental health practitioner, Titi Adesina-Ogundokun, has called on the Southwest to rally round President Bola Tinubu to salvage the nation from economic downturn.

Adesina-Ogundokun, who is the Yeye Bewaji of Eposo Remo in Ogun State, said it is disheartening that Yorubas continue to castigate, malign and throw aspersions on their own.

She said this is despite the fact that Tinubu met a crumbling economy when he came into the saddle, yet, his own people are the ones criticising him.

She urged the Yorubas to put aside sentiments and unite to support the President to save their common heritage.

“When former President Muhammadu Buhari was in the saddle, the Hausa-Fulani people sang his praises because he is their own, and fought anyone that criticised him in the media but, for Yorubas, they are ready to bring their own down.

“The Afenifere, OPC, Agbekoya and other Yoruba Organisations, need to come together and support Tinubu for him to succeed. We don’t need to rant, rather, we need to come together and navigate the way forward for the economic state of the nation to blossom, with all Nigerians enjoying the dividend of democracy,” she said.

The Ogun State born Philanthropist, who is also the President of Blossom Care Hands International Charity Organisation, lauded Tinubu for taking a bold steps in revamping the economy and showcasing the business opportunities the nation is ready to provide to the world.

She also showered encomium on the President for bringing down the foreign exchange and strengthening the naira.

She, however, urged Nigerians to be patient with the Tinubu’s government, as he met a deplorable economic state and is working tirelessly to grow the economy and make all Nigerians enjoy the dividend of democracy.
