The much-anticipated single Shayo by Bullion Records’ sensational artist, Fortune Kingsley, popularly known as GyC, has made its grand debut today, October 10, 2024, on all digital streaming platforms.

The accompanying music video premiered on MTV Base and other international television channels, solidifying GyC’s growing influence across Africa and beyond.

‘Shayo’ is more than just a track—it’s a celebration of Africa’s vibrant music scene, and GyC’s latest venture into blending Afrobeat with other global sounds.

Shot in the dynamic streets of Nairobi during his recent Southern and East African tour, the music video captures both the urban energy and cultural richness of Kenya’s capital.

Directed by renowned Kenyan filmmaker Steve Mugo, the video brings to life a uniquely African narrative, highlighting the continent’s untapped potential in entertainment production.

Speaking on the inspiration behind Shayo, GyC shared, “I wanted to create something that speaks to the vibe of celebration and togetherness that we have in Africa. Whether you’re in a club in Lagos or at a street party in Nairobi, the energy is the same, and I wanted ‘Shayo’ to capture that.”
