The excitement was palpable, and you could feel the vibes and entertainment as music was in the air. It seemed a musical concert, but alas it was a thanks giving service with the best of fun. It was a potpourri of entertainment and worship moment.

The excitement was palpable, and you could feel the vibes and entertainment as music was in the air. It seemed a musical concert, but alas it was a thanks giving service with the best of fun. It was a potpourri of entertainment and worship moment.

That was the atmosphere at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on December 8, 2024, when the church rolled out drums for its ecclesiastical soul inspiring songs and praises to express gratitude to God for His faithfulness in 2024.

The celebration, a thanks giving service, was the third of its kind by the church in Lagos and also across the nations and continents where members and Emmanuel TV Partners gathered to Rejoice in His Glory, which was the theme of the day’s event.

The Arena Of Liberty was full of colour and excitement as worshippers gathered from across the world for the service. Dressed in more than their ‘Sunday best’, the people made out time to sing and dance for their Creator while blessing His house with their substance: It was really a special day of worship, a unique moment of praise and an uncommon time to be with the Lord.

Led by a grandly dressed SCOAN Choir, congregants sang many songs of praise and worship, with joy unspeakable in their hearts. Anchored by Chioma and KC Brown, the event was filled with gospel music and operatic performances spiced with Christian-themed humour that accentuated the many lessons from the exemplary life of Prophet TB Joshua.

Opening the performance session was Esther Oputteh, followed by Doris Osuagwu, with both singers being supported by the Signature Accompaniment Orchestra. Thereafter, a series of guest appearances under the skillful moderation of the event anchors serenade congregants. Guest artistes at the event included, Henry Praise, Sarah Oshaji Olukemi and Busolami Johnson.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua, the leader of the church and wife of the late man of God and founder of the church, while thanking everyone for their support, highlighted the series of activities that marked the year 2024 in The Synagogue. “It has been a year of immense blessings, mercy, favour, faithfulness, newness and breakthrough for us all,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua reported.

Among other things, The SCOAN leader talked about God’s constant presence in His church through difficult times. In her words: “Despite some initial challenges through which satan and his agents wanted to create tension and soil our name, we have remained as constant as the Northern Star because of God’s strong involvement in our foundations and daily affairs as a family.”In her address to congregation Pastor Evelyn Joshua urged the people to thank God for the gift of life.

She said: “Yes, in all these instances, right through the year, we have every reason to glorify the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. And so, we give thanks to him today.”

While pointing out what God has enabled the church to do throughout the year, she thanked Emmanuel TV Partners for their endless support. “I want to thank you all for your support God bless you yes first.”

Commending the different church groups, she noted, the legacy of Prophet TB Joshua will continue to live on especially with the TB Joshua Foundation, which was founded with the aim of propagating the values and virtues of the man of God who transited the world to eternal beyond on June 5, 2021.
