CIA inducts new members, fellows

The Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA) has inducted over 230 new members.Held during the institute’s 55th induction ceremony in Lagos, it also inducted those whose membership was upgraded to associate and fellowship cadre.

In his welcome address, President and Chairman of the Council of the CIA, Ugochukwu Azubuko, charged the inductees to be good ambassadors of the institute and adhere strictly to its code of ethics.

He emphasised how the institute is contributing to human capital development by churning out professionals in the field of administration, who today occupy strategic positions in the public and private sectors of the nation’s economy.

Noting that the institute is passionate about national development, the CIA boss added that it has continued to lend its voice on issues of national importance as it concerns the practice of administration in Nigeria.
