Keystone Bank Limited has partnered with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to launch the MSME Mini Business Boot Camp, a new initiative aimed at equipping Nigerian entrepreneurs with practical skills, mentorship, and access to resources necessary for business growth.
The launch, formalised through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday, 28th August 2025, at the LCCI headquarters in Lagos, brought together senior executives from both institutions, industry stakeholders, and members of the media.
Mrs. Olayemi Sule, Group Head of Retail and Digital Banking at Keystone Bank, highlighted the significance of the collaboration.
“This Memorandum of Understanding between Keystone Bank and the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry underscores our shared commitment to the growth and empowerment of SMEs in Nigeria,” she said. “At Keystone Bank, we believe small and medium enterprises are the backbone of the economy. Through this collaboration, we aim to equip entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and tools they need to thrive and contribute meaningfully to national development.”
Mr. Gani Adebayo, Regional Head of Lagos Island at Keystone Bank, added that the programme is designed to address knowledge gaps and provide practical solutions that enable small businesses to scale. “Our support goes beyond financial services. We are committed to building capacity and unlocking potential,” he said.
Dr. Chinyere Almona, Director General and CEO of LCCI, described the boot camp as “a catalyst for entrepreneurial growth, enhanced business competitiveness, and a significant contributor to the nation’s economic advancement.”
She emphasised that the initiative will strengthen the capacity of small businesses across multiple sectors and support inclusive economic growth.
The MSME Mini Business Boot Camp will offer hands-on training, mentorship programmes, and access to critical business resources, reinforcing Keystone Bank’s dedication to enterprise development and financial inclusion. Both institutions expressed confidence that the initiative will nurture a new generation of resilient, innovative business leaders poised to drive sustainable growth in Nigeria.
