The 2025 edition of The Executive Woman Summit (TEWS) will convene in Lagos this October with a focus on equipping women leaders to navigate the pressures of executive life while sustaining authentic leadership.
The event, scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, in Victoria Island, will bring together senior executives, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders across finance, technology, media, law, and health sectors. The theme for this year is “Leading from Within: An Authentic Approach to Leadership.”
Convener of the summit, Bola Matel-Okoh, founder of BMO Advisory Services and the Women’s Lifestyle Hub, said the gathering was designed to respond directly to the realities women leaders face. “The Executive Woman Summit was born from a deep understanding of today’s leadership landscape. Having spent over three decades in high-stakes roles, and through my work as an executive coach, I’ve seen the immense pressure women leaders face. This summit is a defiant stand against burnout and a strategic investment in self,” she said.
Matel-Okoh added that the summit would provide tools and community support for sustainable leadership. “For today’s woman, a thriving career is a journey that demands intentionality and a powerful community. This summit caters to both. It is where we prepare for tomorrow by leading from within today. We’re creating a powerful space for women to transcend the noise, find clarity, and forge connections that will define their next decade,” she explained.
The programme will include keynote addresses and panel sessions featuring leaders such as Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, former Second Lady of Nigeria; Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, Founder of The Chair Centre Group; Oluyemisi Edun, Managing Director of FCMB; and Joke Bakare, Founder and Managing Director of MedPlus Pharmacy, among others. Discussions will focus on leadership in complex socio-economic environments, reinvention, and influence.
Beyond business discourse, the summit will feature lifestyle elements including live music, comedy, cocktails, and exhibitions, underscoring the organisers’ commitment to holistic well-being.
Registration for both in-person and virtual participation is open, with an executive package offering premium access.
