To promote the welfare of indigent Nigerians, two international businessmen, Sudeep Ramnani and Jai Mahtani have distributed food items to widows and widowers in Ifako Ijaiye area of Lagos.
The outreach, executed through Pukka Logistics and Support Services Ltd in collaboration with Tabitha New Life Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, distributed the food items to widows and widowers facing food challenges in the area.
According to their representative, Mrs. Beulah Akingbelu-Banjo, the food distribution was part of their broader initiative to combat hunger in the country.
“The outreach, which began in March 2024, has already touched the lives of Nigerians across various local government areas, with ambitious plans to extend its reach to every state in the country, including the Federal Capital Territory,” she said.
Speaking on behalf of the Tabitha New Life Foundation, the Founder, Ambassador Adunke Olatunji, thanked the donors for providing a much-needed relief to the beneficiaries.
She commended the organisers for their compassion and dedication to service, emphasising that the foundation was eager to welcome future partnerships and collaborations to further their mission of uplifting vulnerable communities.
