Foreign investors Sudeep Ramnani and Jai Mahtani recently launched a food distribution programme in Lagos communities, aiding efforts to combat hunger and mark Nigeria’s 64th Independence anniversary.

Foreign investors, Sudeep Ramnani and Jai Mahtani, have launched a sustained community outreach program aimed at addressing hunger in various Lagos communities.

The philanthropists stated that the initiative was also established to mark Nigeria’s 64th Independence anniversary.

The underprivileged individuals in Yaba and Eti-Osa local government areas were the recipients of the most recent effort. The businessmen, through their representative, Beulah Akingbelu-Banjo, distributed food items on Friday, 11th October 2024 to support the Federal Government’s initiatives to combat hunger and food poverty.

In their statement, the businessmen expressed that their contribution was a gesture of goodwill towards the Nigerian people.

“There is no better way to celebrate Nigeria than to promote the welfare and well-being of its citizens in our own small way,” said Ramnani.

“The outreach, which aims to address hunger and enhance food security, is part of a wider plan to cover every local government in Nigeria, targeting two local governments at a time over the next few years,” added Mahtani.
