On Saturday, August 30, Warri was buzzing with energy as over 200 young people gathered for the highly anticipated Made2Shine Conference 2025, themed “Empowered for More.”

From the very start, it was clear this wasn’t just another conference. The day blended faith, strategy, and actionable insights—leaving participants not only inspired but equipped to step boldly into their next chapter.

One of the most exciting moments came during the Fuel Your Dream Pitch Competition, where a small business owner clinched a ₦200,000 prize. The surprise doubled when a sponsor pledged an additional ₦200,000 on the spot, raising the total prize to an impressive ₦400,000.

But the impact didn’t stop there. Organizers also announced the launch of the Made2Shine Academy, a new initiative offering 30 young people free training in high-demand skills like graphic design, fashion design, social media management and web development—ensuring the conference leaves a lasting legacy far beyond a single day.

Convened by Victory Mesona, Chief Light Bearer of the Light & Skills Community, the event drew strong support from sponsors including Growth Padi, ScalePadi, Delta Startups, and the Light & Skills Community itself.

In her keynote address, Mesona set the tone for the day with a powerful charge: “God has sent you to the world to embrace purpose with boldness.”

She urged attendees to see their businesses, careers, and ministries not just as pursuits, but as divine assignments.

The stage also featured thought leaders like Presh Talker, who spoke on “Light of the World: Living with Purpose & Excellence,” and Rachael Beoghene-Adesi, who delivered “Purpose Unleashed: Discover It. Maximize It.”

A dynamic panel discussion on “Positioning for Growth: Money, Business, and Career” equipped participants with practical strategies for thriving in today’s economy.
