Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and his partner, Stefanie Kim Ladewig, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Liora Audrey.

The Turkish champions, Galatasaray, announced the birth on Thursday through a statement published on the club’s official website, congratulating the couple on the arrival of their daughter.

“Our Football A Team player Victor Osimhen and Stefanie have welcomed a baby girl into the world,” the club said.
“We congratulate the couple, Victor and Stefanie; we wish their newborn baby Liora Audrey a long, healthy, and happy life!”

The arrival of Liora Audrey makes Osimhen a father of two. The Nigerian international and Ladewig are already parents to a daughter, Hailey.

The announcement has drawn attention to a personal milestone for the 27-year-old striker, who has continued to make headlines for his performances for Galatasaray and Nigeria’s national team

Liora’s birth also comes weeks after reports that Ladewig was involved in a road accident in Istanbul, Türkiye, while pregnant.

According to reports, the incident occurred on October 13 in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district.

Ladewig was reportedly driving an SUV when it collided with a light commercial vehicle before veering into another SUV travelling in the opposite direction.”

Although the vehicles sustained damage, no injuries were reported. Ladewig was taken to a private hospital for precautionary medical examinations because of her pregnancy and was subsequently discharged.

The birth of the couple’s second child follows the striker’s continued success on the pitch. Osimhen plays for Galatasaray in the Turkish Süper Lig, having established himself as one of the club’s key attacking players.

He is also a prominent member of the Super Eagles, representing Nigeria in international competitions.
The announcement has prompted congratulatory messages from football supporters celebrating the growing family.

Nigerian beach soccer player Abu Azeez was among those who reacted to the news, writing, “Big congratulations big Vic,” according to Pulse Sports Nigeria.

Other supporters shared prayers and goodwill messages for the newborn and her parents.

Osimhen has generally kept details of his family life away from the spotlight, although his relationship and fatherhood have occasionally attracted public attention.

With the arrival of Liora Audrey, the striker and his partner begin another chapter in their family life as he continues his professional football career in Türkiye.
