The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, is set to give out nine of his children in marriage on the same day.
Matawalle, a former governor of Zamfara State, is married to four wives: Aisha, Balkisu, Fatima and Dadiya.
According to a general invitation shared by Dan Jafaru Aleengoo Turakee, the wedding ceremony will take place on February 6, 2026, at the Central Mosque in Abuja.

Separate invitations indicate the line-up of grooms and brides, including former Zamfara State House of Assembly Speaker Hon. Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya, who will marry Nana Bello Matawalle; Ibrahim Sahabi Liman, set to wed Farida Bello Matawalle; Safiya Bello Matawalle’s groom, Yazid Shehu Dan Fulani; and Umar Ibrahim Danmaliki, who will marry Aisha Bello Matawalle.

The event will mark an unusual and high-profile occasion in the nation’s capital, reflecting the family’s prominence and the scale of the ceremony.
