APC endorses Adeleye as consensus candidate for Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency

Leaders of All Progressive Congress(APC) in Ogun State has endorsed the immediate past Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Adijat Adeleye, as the consensus candidate for Ifo/Ewekoro federal constituency come 2027 elections.

Adeleye equally picked her nomination and expression interest forms to contest the seat at the House of representative promising to carry the leaders and people along in her representation and bring people oriented-project to development communities with the constituency.

Her emergence as the candidate followed wide consultations and various reconciliatory moves and consensus agreements among party leaders, stakeholders, and key political figures within the constituency at a stakeholders meeting held at the Ibara GRA residence of Chief Joju Fadairo

The meeting which was headed by Chief Fadairo, had in attendance, former Speaker Olakunle Oluomo, Adekunle Adeyemi, former member representing Ifo/Ewekoro federal constituency, Shina Adegbenro, APC Apex leader for Ewekoro LG, Bode Adeaga, former Majority Leader at the state assembly, among others.

Speaking, the two-term former lawmaker in the State House of Assembly, in a statement, yesterday, thanked the party leaders and Stakeholders as well as Governor Dapo Abiodun for their support and contributions towards her emergence as the party’s consensus candidate for the the House of representative seat.

She specifically commended Abiodun for his leadership style in equity, justice and fairness, saying that the governor had shown steady guidance, and unwavering commitment to fostering unity within the party at all levels in the state.

Adeleye said “I am deeply humbled and sincerely grateful to acknowledge my emergence as the consensus candidate for Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency under our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC)” I receive it not as a personal triumph, but as a collective responsibility entrusted to me by our great party, leaders and party faithfuls I deeply respect.”

“I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Apex leaders in Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, our party leaders, and every stakeholder who played a role in this process.”
