2027: We won’t join any political coalition — Ogun Accord Party

Ogun State Charpter of Accord party has denied any move to form an alliance with the ruling All  Progressive Congress(APC) or any other opposition parties in the state ahead 2027 elections.

The Chairman of the Party, Hon. Rotimi Oke, disclosed this in an interview in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital, yesterday.

Oke insisted that that the party was not ready to align or collapse its structures either with APC or the coalition of African Democratic Congress(ADC) before the next elections.

“Accord remain Accord we don’t belong to any other political parties and we are not in alliance with any parties. Soon our party members will know we have plans for the party and very soon we will unveil the plans.”

The chairman also criticized the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun for failing to implement policies and projects aimed at easing the economic hardship faced by residents.

He said that the APC government both at the national and state levels had not live up to expectations in tackling hunger, inflation and insecurity bedeviling Nigerians.

Oke, however, expressed confident that Accord remains that party to beat in Ogun come 2027 elections.
