Ohe of the competitions that has become a breeding ground for champions, the Devnotch National Tennis Championship, has served off at the Tennis Arena, Package B of the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The weeklong event, which is in its sixth year, got underway yesterday and will end on June 27, 2026.

Interestingly, in this edition, the sponsor, Victor Ochei, has a dual role to play as the chairman of Devnotch Nig Ltd, and the host of the championship as president of the Nigeria Tennis Federation.

Ochei, who led Nigeria to qualify for the second round of the Davis Cup for the first time since 1989, has promised that this edition will be filled with spectacular novelties, especially enhanced prize money and welfare packages for players, officials and spectators alike.
