Yayi commissions campaign headquarters in Abeokuta ahead of Ogun guber race

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 Ogun State election, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has commissioned an ultra-modern four-storey Governorship Campaign Headquarters in Ibara, Abeokuta.

The facility is expected to serve as the central coordination centre for Senator Adeola’s governorship campaign, providing operational space for planning, stakeholder engagement, volunteer coordination, and other campaign activities as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

Speaking at the event, Adeola expressed gratitude to God and the people of Ogun State for their unwavering support, noting that the campaign headquarters represents a shared commitment to a people-focused campaign anchored in service, unity, and development.

He explained that his administration would uphold fairness in governance, ensure equitable distribution of opportunities and development projects across all parts of Ogun State, and make decisions solely in the best interest of the people.

“This campaign headquarters is more than a building; it represents our shared vision for a greater Ogun State. We have built it as a place where ideas will be nurtured, strategies developed, and every segment of our state will find a voice. By the grace of God and with the support of our people, we will build a government anchored on fairness, equity, and justice. Every decision we take will be guided by the collective interest of the people, ensuring that no community, no zone, and no citizen is left behind as we move Ogun State to the next level,” he said.

The campaign headquarters was commissioned by the Chairman of the Ogun State All Progressives Congress, Yemi Sanusi, alongside the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo; the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, as well as Chairman of the Ogun State Traditional Council, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle; the Olubara of Ibara, Oba Jacob Omolade; and several other prominent traditional rulers from across the state.

The event attracted an unprecedented gathering of political leaders, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and supporters from across Ogun State as well as serving and former federal and state government officials
