Starex Petroleum Refinery Ltd has invited qualified engineering firms and strategic investors to partner in the development of its proposed 100,000-barrels-per-day refinery at the Onne Oil and Gas Free Trade Zone in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The company said it is seeking expressions of interest from local and international organisations with proven experience in large-scale refinery development, engineering, construction and project financing.
According to Starex Petroleum Refinery, the initiative forms part of its plans to develop a modern refinery capable of supporting Nigeria’s refining capacity and contributing to the country’s downstream petroleum sector.
The company stated that it welcomes strategic partnerships with engineering corporations, financial investors and other industry stakeholders that possess the technical expertise and financial capability required to execute a project of this scale.
Interested organisations are encouraged to submit expressions of interest and engage with the company regarding potential collaboration opportunities.
