… Reels out Tinubu’s achievements
The Executive Director of Corporate Services at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Ifedayo Abegunde, has stressed that the people of Ondo State will support and vote overwhelmingly for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
While citing achievements of the Tinubu-led administration, Abegunde stated that the president has laid a strong foundation for sustainable economic growth, infrastructure development, social welfare, and national security, with impacts being felt across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
While speaking with newsmen, the NDDC executive director expressed optimism that the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) would resolve internal party crises across all states before the 2027 campaign season commences.
Abegunde maintained that the commitment of the NWC will further strengthen party unity as well as ensure more coordinated grassroots mobilization efforts.
The NDDC chief, who reeled out sixteen key areas where the Tinubu administration has recorded progress nationwide, stated that “these include enhanced federal allocations to states through fiscal reforms, which have enabled state governments to undertake more developmental projects.
“The launch of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), providing access to interest-free loans for tertiary institution students; ongoing rehabilitation and construction of federal roads, highways, bridges, and rail projects; and efforts to improve electricity generation, transmission, and distribution, including investments in renewable energy initiatives.
“The administration has also expanded agricultural programs aimed at boosting food production and enhancing food security; strengthened primary healthcare services, medical infrastructure, and health insurance coverage; created employment opportunities through skills acquisition, digital innovation, and entrepreneurship programs; and increased funding for security agencies to combat terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, and other criminal activities.
“Implementation of policies to stabilize the economy and attract foreign investment; expansion of social intervention programs, including cash transfers for vulnerable Nigerians; promotion of affordable housing projects and urban renewal initiatives; advancement of broadband penetration and ICT infrastructure; deployment of solar and alternative energy solutions to underserved communities.
“Support for manufacturing, SMEs, and industrial clusters; increased investment in education and teacher training; development of airports, seaports, inland waterways, and mass transit systems; and strengthening of transparency and anti-corruption mechanisms in public administration.”
The NDDC Executive Director emphasised that the achievements are not limited to a particular region but are being felt across the country.
He urged the people of Ondo State and Nigerians at large to continue supporting the administration, assuring that the state would stand with Tinubu and deliver massive votes in appreciation of the president’s developmental strides.
