Human rights activist Segun Awosanya, popularly known as Segalink, has described the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, as a political content creator.
This was after Obi’s latest interview on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics, where he spoke about his preparation for the 2027 presidential election.
Reacting, Awosanya said that the recent interviews granted by Obi have raised further questions about his fitness for leadership.
He said on X, “Given his previous track record, there are valid concerns about his ability to govern effectively and independently. He is currently being propped up by the shenanigans and virulence of the IPOBian Obidiot movement without any substance and this is revealed every time he opens his mouth.”
Awosanya also noted that every single country Obi glorified and hoped to emulate are currently in penury.
The activist emphasised that Obi is unfit for leadership and shouldn’t ever be compared to any serious candidate.
“He is a political content creator,” he said, adding that Nigeria will be ruined like he ruined his state in eight years of abysmal rule while pretending to be pious and frugal.
“Nigerians are facing the consequences of past negligence in leadership and things are shaping up as we proceed. Don’t be deceived or blinded by epistemic tribalism,” he said.
