UAE carrier highlights ambition, human potential and global growth plans
Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, has unveiled a new global brand campaign, “Beyond Borders,” reflecting the airline’s ambition and its focus on expanding connections between people and places.
The campaign is anchored by a brand film that explores how ambition and the courage to move beyond the familiar can open new possibilities.
Inspired by the spirit of Abu Dhabi, where Etihad was founded, “Beyond Borders” celebrates the people, places and connections that emerge when individuals and communities look beyond established boundaries.

A philosophy built on ambition
According to Etihad, every meaningful journey begins when someone chooses to go beyond. The campaign is built around the idea that the moments that shape people most often begin with a courageous decision to pursue something greater.
The airline said the philosophy also reflects the ambition that has driven Abu Dhabi’s transformation into a global centre of opportunity and supported Etihad’s growth over its 23-year history.
Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, said: “Beyond Borders is a new chapter for Etihad. Every route we fly, every guest we carry and every partnership we build reflects the same ambition that Abu Dhabi was built from.”
He said the campaign would shape how the airline approaches its growth, adding that “where others stop at the border, we go beyond it.”

Etihad’s growth ambitions
The “Beyond Borders” philosophy is also tied to Etihad’s long-term expansion plans, including a planned investment of $20 billion over the next decade in new aircraft, enhanced products and an improved guest experience.
The airline also plans to expand its global network to more than 150 destinations, strengthen partnerships connecting Abu Dhabi with the wider world and build an airline that reflects the identity of its home.
