The Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN)remains at the heart of Nigeria’s content creation and the creative economy. Through its yearlyNigerian Electronic Media Content Exhibition and Awards( NEMCEA), it has remained dedicated to nurturing a sustainable media environment across West Africa and beyond.
As Nigeria’s premier marketplace for the discovery, trade and exchange of TV, radioand electronic media content, NEMCEA has continued its mission to elevate industry standards under the core theme: ‘Rewarding Excellence in Content Creation.’
Come September 2 and 3, it will be recognising brands such as Zee World, Standard Insurance Consultant Limited and LAPO Microfinance Bank that are supporting the electronic media content and creative industry.
“At EMCOAN, we value professionalism, service excellence, ethical conducts and financial responsibility across the industry,” said Mr Alayande Stephen T, NEMCEA Project Director 2026.
Already, EMCOAN has announced major strategic partnerships for this milestone 5th edition, reinforcing industry synergy and operational integrity.
According to Alayande, “given ARCON’s position as the chief regulatory body in the advertising industry, we are proud to announce that ARCON will be partnering with EMCOAN in endowing two special categories of awards. They are: ARCON Award For Outstanding Customer Service Agency and ARCON Award For Excellence In Payment Discipline.”
In the same vein, the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) has endowed two awards for the 2026 NEMCEA.
Speaking on this, Mr Adeniji Omirin, President of EMCOAN, stated, “they are NTA Award for Best Entertainment ShowAlayande ndNTA Award for Best Producer.”
For the Industry Pacesetter Award 2026, EMCOAN is honouring veteran Nollywood director and producer, Mr Tade Ogidan and High Chief Emeka Ossai, as well as a posthumous award to Mr Adeoye Roluga, who was a founding member of EMCOAN and a veteran producer in the Nollywood industry.
