Man United seal comeback win to end winless streak

Man United end winless streak

Manchester United ended their nine-game winless streak as the Red Devils came back from a two-goal deficit to beat Roma at Old Trafford on matchday four of the UEFA Champions League.

Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty while Mateus Cunha scored twice in the second half to complete the dramatic turnaround.

Michael Carrick’s side entered the tie needing a win to ease tension after a winless run, but fell two goals behind the Serie A side.

Matias Sole put the visitors ahead in the 11th minute after the Dutch defender left him unmarked in the box. The Argentine forward calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner, leaving Lammens helpless.
