No fewer than 301 students of the Oyo State College of Nursing Sciences, Eleyele, Ibadan, have received N148.342 million in education loans under the Nigerian Education Loan Fund scheme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This was disclosed in an acknowledgement letter from the institution to the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), confirming the receipt of three tranches of the students’ loan disbursement.

The acknowledgement, signed by the Provost, Dr. Owolabi Gbonjubola, expressed appreciation to the NELFUND management for the intervention.

According to the document, the largest tranche of N138.672 million was disbursed to 283 students on March 10, 2026.

A second tranche of N2.328 million followed on March 12, 2026, benefiting four students, while a third tranche of N7.342 million was received on April 9, 2026, for 14 students.

The three disbursements brought the total number of beneficiaries to 301 students, with the institution receiving N148,342,000 altogether.

The Provost assured the fund that the money would be “disbursed to the appropriate beneficiaries.”
