Fans and music enthusiasts were already at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos two hours before the time, eager to see the Dancehall star, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, known popularly as Patoranking, who was set to thrill at the Lord’s Trace Live Concert 2026 that night.
The time finally came, at exactly 9:36.p.m, when he entered from the right wing of the stage. This made everyone to bring out his or her phones to capture the moment.
Behold, Patoranking did not merely end the anxiety, he set the stage on fire, elevating the spirit of music lovers.
From Patoranking to Killing Me; No Kissing Baby to Alubarika, Girlie O, then to My Woman, My Everything and Abobi, Patoranking made fans grind and groove to reggae, dancehall and afrobeats.
Elevating the night was Lord’s London Dry Gin, bringing its own flavour of sophistication to an evening already charged with music and energy. Lord’s presence went beyond the bottle. The brand helped shape the mood of the night, creating moments of indulgence and effortless enjoyment between performances.
Behind Patoranking was Fire Republik, and what began as a performance quickly became a celebration.
For a night celebrating a decade of God Over Everything, Patoranking did not simply perform his biggest songs. He reminded everyone why they became part of the soundtrack in the first place.
Just when it seemed the night had reached its peak, Victor AD appeared at past 11.00p.m. The Nigerian pop star made a surprise appearance towards the end of Patoranking’s set, delivering a short, high-energy performance that had the crowd roaring once again. It was the kind of unexpected moment that gave the night another lift.
But Trace Live wasn’t done. With the live band offstage, the DJs stepped behind the decks and took over the party. Dancehall classics rolled into Afrobeats favourites before giving way to Amapiano, keeping the floor alive and the energy climbing. The concert had officially become a party and nobody seemed in a hurry to leave.
One thing that set this edition apart wasn’t just the spectacle on stage, it was the way Lord’s London Dry Gin became part of the experience itself. The dedicated Lord’s lounge offered its own pocket of premium sophistication, with sharply dressed mixologists turning every serve into a small performance of its own.
Marketing Manager, Nigerian Distilleries Limited, Gbemileke Lawal, remarked, “Trace Live remains an extraordinary platform for celebrated African talent, and for Lord’s Gin, it is the natural stage to create unforgettable moments. Our commitment goes beyond traditional visibility; we aim to curate experiences that align organically with our consumers’ lifestyle and celebrations. Lord’s Gin embodies elegance, sophistication, and raw energy.”
