• To Hold ‘Hope For The Needy’FromNovember 28 To 29, 2026

As The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries begins its women programme, titled: “Thou Has Found Favour With God” on October 24 and 25, 2026; and “Hope For The Needy” on November 28 and 29, 2026, its General Overseer Worldwide, Pastor Lazarus Muoka has urged members of the church to pray, prepare and ensure that they come to every weekly and crusade programmes with new converts.

The General Overseer gave the order, last Sunday, while speaking during the Combined Service, themed: “He That Reapeth Receiveth Wages”held at the church’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos.

Quoting Jn. 4:30; Lk 13:6; Matt 16:15, the cleric called on Christians to go out and winsouls for the Lord, saying that is why they are in the kingdom to bring others to Christ.

He said: “In recent times many have changed the gospel and even lost the focus why they were created. The purpose why we were converted is to do God’s will.”
Muoka reminded Christians that the command of Jesus, “follow me and I will make you fishers of men” is still very relevant today.

“You and I, are converted to be instruments in the hands of God. We are to fish others and win themto Christ that is why we are in the kingdom. So, go and bring others to the kingdom and establish them and God will multiply his blessings upon you,” Muoka said

He urged them not to isolate God in their lives or feel they can make it without Him, adding that God has the power to pay wages and give eternal life.

“You shall serve the Lord and He shall bless your bread, take your sickness away.If you serve the Lord, the author of life He will make you to fulfil your years. Yes, I have heard testimonies of how God delivered Chosen brethren from their enemies and kidnappers, ritual killers and so on.”

Muoka, citing the example of the disciples, said they abandoned the preaching of the gospel and went afishing but caught nothing. He stressed that when Christians are outside the will of God they will not prosper.

“When Jesus came into their situation, He urged the disciples to cast their net in the right side and they caught plenty fishes. When you abandon what God has asked you to do you will end up getting nothing in life. Whoever wants to receive wages and blessings from above must obey the Lord and do His will,”Muoka said.

The General Overseer,while urging members of the church to examine their lives and make God happy by winning souls for Him,reminded them that God has principles.

He said: “If you are not winning souls God’s judgment is upon you and He has given you a lot of testimonies to enable you win souls but you have not obeyed him. No wonder your prayers are not answered.If you are born again, try me and try my God if your situation will not change. Can human being be more righteous than God? If somebody is working for you, do you pay the person his or her wages? If you promise to win souls everyday I will hear your testimony because he that reapeth shall receive wages. Can God lie?”

Muoka called on the church to change their names and begin to bear “Fishers of men,” saying that is the only name hewould like to hear from members starting from today.

He said: “From today your name must change to fisher of men in your location. I am not in support of any other name than this, “Fishers of men” that is when we will know that heaven recognises you. From today that is the name your Pastor recognises and likewise any other person in this church. Let that happen today, and I will hear your testimony.Is there any body who is willing to take up that name “Fisher of Men” from today I decree blessings upon you in Jesus name and everything you do in life will end up in blessings. From today you will do what Peter did, he cast the net in the right side and your net will never be empty.”
