Did That Yoruba Actress Organise Birthday Or Fundraising?
T4T has been bombarded with videos online of the seventh year birthday anniversary of the son of Nollywood actress, Wunmi Toriola.
It was a grand celebration. All the top movie and music stars of Yoruba extraction were present, all the top stars. Ms Toriola was seen dancing excitedly while being pelted with wads of naira notes(hope the EFCC won’t see this part of the story here, not for fraud o, but you know, ‘inhuman treatment’ of the naira).
From the video, one could see that the venue where the party held was top class, in fact, one would have mistaken the event for a box office premiere, but no, it was the birthday of a year old child!
Now, the question T4T wants to ask is, when the boy gets to 10 or even 15 years, na for Aso Rock aunty Wunmi go for do the birthday be dat na! The funny part of the whole thing was, of all the videos T4T saw, he only saw the boy feature in one, just one! It was Wunmi dancing or being sprayed money or welcoming fellow stars we all got to see. One would have thought that the seven year old Zion and his peers would be seen jumping on bouncing castles, drinking mineral waters and even ‘Bobo’, but whoosai, na adults drinking Hennessy and eating from big bowls of amala and gbegiri full everywhere.
This brings us to ask a crucial question: was the little boy aware it was his birthday party and was it a birthday of Zion or a fundraiser that aunty Wunmi organised?
Kanayo O Kanayo Is Angry!
NOLLYWOOD acting legend, Kanayo O Kanayo is very angry. He is so angry he does not care anymore whether you accuse him of attacking the ‘body of Christ’(that is the familiar emotional blackmail line anytime one criticises the activities of some Pastors in Nigeria).
And so, T4T was snooping around online some couple of days ago when he came across a visibly angry K.O.K in a video tearing into a popular Pentecostal Apostle who has been making frightening and ridiculous claims about Jesus crying by his side, walking along a beach with him and going to heaven like who goes to Ikeja daily, and other rather unbelievable tales.
This was what K.O.K said in case you have not seen the video: “If you’re a follower of Christ, what happened to Jesus? He died and ascended into heaven. Pastor Arome(Osayi) is still alive and telling you people that he went to heaven, and then his members are there clapping. Many are going to hell with their eyes open.”
This is T4T’s position. Apostle Osayi knows what he sees every time he closes his eyes, that, T4T cannot independently verify. If he says he goes to heaven every night, then it is true, as T4T is not in his eyes and does not have the intention of entering his eyes either. As long as the large crowd in his church believes and even hails him every time he drops a rather unbelievable tale, then, it is fine with T4T.
And this is to bros K.O.K. “Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm”. Abi nor be wetin Christians dey tell us anytime we talk about dia Daddy G.Os?
To God be the Glory!
That Kenyan Pastor Has Been Served Justice
T4T has always screamed about the dangers of religions, all of them. His fears were confirmed with the recent conviction and sentencing to death of a Kenyan Pastor who murdered 191 people. Yes, 191 human beings, not cows!
While convicting Paul Mackenzie, the Judge, according to the BBC, said his followers believed he was “Jesus’s mouthpiece”.
Mackenzie ordered members of his church to starve their children to death so they could “meet Jesus”. His doctrine said that education was forbidden and modern medicine was “evil”.
Twenty-eight other leaders of his cult(that is right, a cult, not church) were also convicted of murder. They had all pleaded not guilty, repeatedly insisting that nobody was forced to die.
Delivering her eight-hour judgement in the port city of Mombasa, Justice Diana Mochache said Mackenzie’s followers believed he was “Jesus’s mouthpiece”.
One of his co-accused said Mackenzie had told his followers that anyone who “resisted the directive to fast must be forced to go to heaven through kicks and blows”.
This is where the story got weirder. Burials inside the forest where the cult was based were called “weddings”. Those who died “were celebrated as having wedded with Jesus”, the judge said.
A witness stated that a pregnant woman had been barred from nursing her new-born baby, who died 12 days later. “She was instructed to fast to death and follow her children,” the witness said.
Mackenzie established Good News International Ministries in 2003. Over the next 16 years, the church grew in popularity to draw thousands of followers in the church’s branches across Kenya.
Rev Kings, the Nigerian version of this Kenyan evil who is on death row for killing two of his church members is a ‘saint’ compared to Mackenzie.
Now, this is T4T’s position: How did people allow themselves to be so manipulated, controlled and stupid to the extent they killed themselves or their loved ones in their eagerness to “meet Jesus”? None of them could for a minute ask why the Mackenzie was not ready to join them abi im nor wan meet Jesus? At least that bigger evil in America, Jim Jones and his about a thousand followers drank poison and all went to meet Jesus same time in what is the biggest mass suicide in the world.
By the way, how did the Kenyan authorities allow an evil like Mackenzie go on unchecked for over two decades?
Every day, the “Religion is the Opium of the people” quote by Karl Marx continues to make sense.
