Galatasaray SK has announced that Victor Osimhen will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery on Saturday, November 7 at Acıbadem Hospital.
The Turkish Super Lig club made the announcement on Friday after an MRI test detected a free fragment in Osimhen’s left knee from a stretch injury during their UEFA Champions League match against VfB Stuttgart.
As a result of the injury, the Nigerian international striker has been removed from the squad for Galatasaray’s upcoming domestic match against Amed S.F.
“Acıbadem Medical Report | Victor Osimhen. Our player Victor Osimhen, who suffered a strain in his left knee during our UEFA Champions League match against VfB Stuttgart and was found to have a loose body in MRI scans, is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery tomorrow at Maslak Acıbadem Hospital, performed by our club doctor Yener İnce.
