Dear Readers,
You will have noticed that while many newspapers have raised their cover prices by 33 per cent due to growing cost pressures, we have decided to hold our prices steady for as long as possible.

Times are tough for all of us, but instead of merely passing on rising costs to you, we have chosen to improve the way we do business, and rather pass the benefits of this on to you.

We have done this because we believe that even when all of life’s other necessities are getting more expensive, your daily news, opinion and entertainment fix shouldn’t have to. The Guardian has been a mainstay of the Nigerian media for more than 33 years, and with your support we will continue to serve you with Conscience, Nurtured by Truth.

Yours faithfully,
Maiden Ibru,
Chairman, Guardian Newspapers Ltd
