The Ekiti Operations Office in collaboration with Ekiti SEMA accompanied the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State Chief Mrs Monisade Afuye conducted an on the spot assessment of rainstorm disaster in Oke-Oka and Ijesa-isu in Ikole Local government Area, Ekiti State today Saturday 4th March 20223.

The disaster was reported to have happened on Friday 3rd March 2023 after a heavy down pour which was accompanied by heavy wind.

During the assessment, it was observed that 152 houses had been affected while many household have been rendered homeless and requires immediately assistance.

Schools, place of worship and other public infrastructures were also damage by the disaster.
