No fewer than 10, 000 job seekers besieged the Asaba township stadium venue for collection of employment forms for the State Employment and Expenditure for Results (SEEFOR) jobs.

The job seekers, many of whom are married women/men and a few youths, caused vehicular traffic and gridlock along the Nnebisi road where the Asaba township stadium is situated.

Expectedly, the job seekers tangled on one another to obtain the employment forms as roadside photographs made brisk business in taking urgent passports as part of the employment conditions.

While the hustle for the forms lasted, motorists plying Nnbisi road were held on long queue within the township stadium in several hours.

One of the job seekers, Mary Egungi said, “we are struggling to obtain forms to be sweeping the road for N10, 000 since there are no job opportunity again in Nigeria, the struggling exercise is too much for us” Investigation revealed that the employment form(s) were printed and given out for free by management of SEEFOR to provide employment for the teeming Asaba unemployed residents to cushion the hash economy recession.”
